Arriving at Les Agathes

We know how tiring it can be to travel through the whole of France and arrive just when the shops have shut!

Consequently we would advise you to bring a few items with you for the first night, pop down the road to the local supermarket or do what we do and treat yourself to a meal in town!

If you are not too tired do check out the local restaurants.

Do remember that most supermarkets are shut on a Sunday except for a small one nearby. Also, bear in mind that in this part of the world everything shuts between noon and around 2.30pm except for restaurants and bars. As part of your holiday we will provide a map giving details of supermarkets, restaurants, tourist office etc.

From each of the places mentionned below we can arrange picking up with a
local taxi company.

BY PLANE
Marseille airport is 30 kilometres ( 19 miles) south of Salon .
Several companies like BA, Air France and Easyjet fly there.
Possibilities of Car Rental there.
To get  to the villa from the airport: take the A7 motorway towards the
north  in the direction of Lyon, come out at the "Salon" exit, you will be
at the south of the town ( Salon Sud).


BY TRAIN
Possibilities of car rental there.
*TGV train station of Aix (39 km= 24 miles away).
To get to the villa : leave the train station and take the direction of
Vitrolles via the RD9(route departementale9), then take the motorway A7 in
the direction Salon/Lyon You will get to the south of Salon.

*TGV train station of Avignon  (48km=30 miles)
To get to the villa : leave the station in the direction of Marseille( 2
lane way similar to a motorway) and then take the N7(nationale 7) in the
direction of Salon.
You will get to the north of Salon.


BY CAR
*Coming from the South.
Follow the A7 north in the direction of Lyon.
After the toll gate of Lancon follow the direction Salon/Arles/Barcelone A54
Come out at the toll gate Salon Centre Pelissanne (exit=sortie number 15)
Cross the town of Salon by following the direction Avignon then Eyguieres.
Take the "Chemin du touret" road, which is the 1st  tarmac road on the right
on the avenue of  Lattre de Tassigny also called "route d'Eyguieres".
The villa is on the number 1123 on the left.

*Coming from the North.
Leave the A7 motorway going south at the exit number 27 Salon-Nord and take
the ditection Salon Centre.
Take the direction of Eyguieres and then the chemin du Touret as explained
above.

*Coming from the East
Follow the A8 in the direction of Lyon until you join the A7.
From then on, the instructions are the same as if you were to arrive from
the South.

*from the West
Follow the A54 up until exit=Sortie 14.
Take the N113(Nationale) in the direction of Salon.
Cross the town of Salon in the direction of Avignon and then Eyguieres.
